WHO ARE THE RIPPLE EFFECT BAND?
Introducing the women who make up Ripple Effect Band. They are the first women from their community of Maningrida in the Northern Territory to play music and so are strong and brave musicians who are following their dreams. Meet them here.
Ngúddja was written by Patricia Gibson and Jodie Kell. It is a classic rock song that celebrates the many Aboriginal languages of the Maningrida community. The song is sung in Ndjébbana and this film explains the lyrics and the meanings behind the words.
